Veterans Day November 11 2025, Town Trash Collection and Office Schedule

Sanitation and Office Schedule for Veterans Day Week

  • Blue Route trash collection: as regularly scheduled
  • Green Route trash collection: Monday, November 10 ️(instead of Tuesday)️ and Friday, November 14
  • Commercial trash collection: as regularly scheduled
  • Curbside recycling subscribers: as regularly scheduled

We hope to see you at our annual Veterans Day ceremony in front of Town Hall on Tuesday, November 11 at 11 am. This year’s event will feature Retired Navy Captain Robert Wasalaski as the guest speaker. 

Veterans Day Ceremony at Nags Head's Town Hall 11/11/25 at 11 a.m.

In addition, Nags Head's Town Hall and Dowdy Park will be illuminated in green to show our support as part of Operation Green Light. We encourage individuals and businesses to join us in supporting this initiative.
