If you are an oceanfront property owner or a sand relocation contractor, please attend a meeting about our Sand Relocation Program Thursday, October 12, 2023. The meeting will be held from 6 to 7 pm in the Nags Head Board of Commissioners room at 5401 South Croatan Highway. Equipment operators who attend this meeting will be placed on a list of sand relocation contractors that is provided to property owners at their request. We do not recommend specific contractors; we provide the list solely to help our property owners obtain assistance with sand relocation. In addition to Planning and Development staff, Town Engineer David Ryan and members of our finance department will be on hand to answer questions. For more information on the meeting, contact Environmental Planner Conner Twiddy at 252-449-6047 or Conner.Twiddy@NagsHeadNC.gov.

No "tanglers" please! Tanglers are items such as plastic bags, wires, and garden hoses that tangle and damage recycling equipment. Please don't place tanglers in your curbside recycle bin. You can place your recyclables inside the bin without a bag, or use a paper bag if needed. Thanks for recycling right, Nags Head. We appreciate it. If you don't have time to haul your recyclables to the recycling centers we have at town hall (5401 South Croatan Highway) and our public services facility (2200 Lark Avenue), subscribe to the curbside recycling collection service offered by TFC Recycling. The cost is only $10.33/month thanks to a $5/month subsidy from the Town.
