About the Skate Park at the Outer Banks YMCA

The Town of Nags Head operates the skate park located on the premises of the Outer Banks YMCA at 3000 South Croatan Highway.


  • Operating hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. or sunset, whichever occurs first.
  • The park is unsupervised; users skate at their own risk.
  • All users must wear a helmet, elbow pads, and kneepads.
  • Users assume all risks associated with use; failure to comply may subject the violator to sanctions.
  • Report violations to Dare County Central Communications at 252-473-3444.
