Nags Head Receives $300,000 Grant from State for dune planting.

The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Water Resources has awarded the Town of Nags Head a $300,000 grant from the Coastal Storm Damage Mitigation Fund for a dune planting project related to previous storm damage.

One page brochure advertising Veterans Day ceremony at NH Town Hall on 11/11/22 at 11 am.

You won't have to be in town this year to see our popular Veterans Day ceremony. We'll be livestreaming the event on our YouTube channel starting at 11 am. The ceremony is usually anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes long.

If you can join us in-person, we'll have a special speaker and live music. We'll also lay a beautiful wreath at our veterans memorial. We hope you can take a few minutes out of your day to honor the sacrifices, courage, and patriotism of the men and women who have worn a military uniform.

Dowdy Park Holiday Farmers Markets 11/12, 11/26, and 12/10 9 am to 12 pm and 12/10 from 4-y pm.

Enjoy your Halloween candy stash, but don't put the wrappers in your recycling bin.

Thanks for recycling right, Nags Head!

If you don't have time to haul your recyclables to the recycling centers we have at town hall (5401 South Croatan Highway) and our public services facility (2200 Lark Avenue), subscribe to the curbside recycling collection service offered by TFC Recycling. The cost is only $9.60/month thanks to a $5/month subsidy from the Town.
