Apply to Join the Newly Formed Pedestrian Project Advisory Committee

We're taking applications from those interested in serving on the Pedestrian Project Advisory Committee, which will identify and rank future pedestrian projects for Board consideration during the Town's next Capital Improvement Program process.

Our pedestrian priorities have changed with the installation of the west side multi-use path with a focus towards improved bicycle and pedestrian neighborhood connections to the path.

Staff plans on presenting a list of recommended members for consideration at the August 3, 2022 Board of Commissioners meeting.

If you are interested in serving on the Pedestrian Project Advisory Committee, please fill out an application online. Your completed form will be automatically emailed to the Town Clerk's office.

You can also download an application to either return by email (to Town Clerk Carolyn Morris at Carolyn.Morris@NagsHeadNC.gov) or via the mail (to Town Clerk Carolyn Morris, Town of Nags Head, PO Box 99, Nags Head, NC 27959)

Photo of several glossy magazines in a stack.
A common recycling misconception is that magazines can not be recycled due to their glossy pages, but this type of glossed paper IS recyclable at TFC Recycling.

The next time you declutter your coffee table, throw those magazines into your curbside recycling bin!

Thank you for recycling right.

If you don't have time to haul your recyclables to the recycling centers we have at town hall (5401 South Croatan Highway) and our public services facility (2200 Lark Avenue), subscribe to the curbside recycling collection service offered by TFC Recycling.
