Nags Head Fire Rescue - Community-Driven Strategic Plan

Dear Nags Head Community Member,

Nags Head Fire Rescue is consistently working to achieve and/or maintain the highest level of professionalism and efficiency on behalf of those it serves. To ensure the community remains a focus of the organization, we are developing a Community Driven Strategic Plan to establish objectives and priorities to improve service delivery.

The goal of this plan is to guide our organization’s path into the future. This living document’s foundation relies on community and stakeholder input, so we encourage and welcome input from the town’s residents, businesses, and stakeholders.

Under normal circumstances we would use stakeholder meetings and public forums/community meetings to gather your input. In order to maintain social distancing and to move forward with the project we are going to use an online survey. By taking this survey and providing your input, you can help Nags Head Fire Rescue ensure that we are meeting the expectations and the needs of our community. Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days

Street Paving Taking Place

Paving of the following streets is taking place this week in the order the streets are listed: all streets in Nags Head Pond, Baltic Street, and Sea Holly Court.

Work in Nags Head Pond is currently taking place and will continue as long as the weather holds out. This work is highly weather dependent, so the Nags Head Pond work may be delayed later today, which will then shift the paving of the other streets back.
