Please remember that while all Town offices remain open, except for the police and fire administrative offices, we are strongly encouraging the public to conduct their business with the Town either online or via the phone. For additional information visit nagsheadnc.gov/coronavirus.

Nags Head’s Fire and Rescue Department will re-start their annual fire inspection program beginning Friday, April 24, 2020. Business owners will be contacted to start the inspection process.  The Department is partnering with the town’s local business owners to ensure they are prepared to move forward once businesses can re-open.

We are delaying the start of the summer sanitation schedule from May 1 to May 18, 2020. This change only impacts the town’s Blue and Red Sanitation Routes. In summary, the Red Sanitation Route’s first Saturday trash collection will start on May 23, 2020 and the Blue Sanitation Route’s second day of recycling collection will start on May 22, 2020.  To view the collection schedule visit www.nagsheadnc.gov/sanitation.

Facilities Maintenance Technicians Bruce Erickson (pictured) and Nehmias Cortez have been keeping our town offices sanitized during the pandemic. Wearing a respirator can't be fun, so we greatly appreciate what they are doing to ensure that those of us who are still working in the Town offices remain healthy.
